McGregor Street Location Closing Dear Amoskeag Health Patient, We are writing to let you know that, as part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services, our McGregor Street location at Catholic Medical Center will be closing on Friday, November 22, 2024. This closure is part of a temporary consolidation of our locations, as we look ahead to the future opening of the Mark Stebbins Community Center on the West Side of Manchester. If you have an appointment scheduled at McGregor, a staff member will contact you to reschedule to one of our other locations: Hollis Street, Elm Street, or Tarrytown Road. If you need help getting to these locations, please let a staff member know, and we will be happy to arrange transportation for you. You will continue to see your regular provider at one of our other locations to ensure continuity of care. We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you. LEADERSHIP Kris McCracken, MBA President/Chief Executive Officer Kris has been with Amoskeag Health since 1996, first as a Crisis Outreach Counselor, then as a Client & Family Services Manager, then as the Director of Operations from 2000 to 2013 before becoming President/CEO in 2013. She has an MBA in Health Care Administration from Rivier College and a Bachelor’s in Psychology & Latin American Studies from Mt. Holyoke College and is bilingual in English and Spanish. Her background is in counseling having worked with Domestic Violence, HIV/AIDS, Rape Crisis, and Substance Abuse before moving into working with community health. Over the past decade, Ms. McCracken spearheaded Amoskeag Health’s response to the growing diversity in our community. In 2012, Ms. McCracken was nominated by the NH DHHS as a Public Health Hero recognizing her work in cultural competency and advocacy for minority populations. She is frequently requested as a speaker to provide training on organizational cultural competency and best practices in multilingual access and graduated in 2014 from the Disparities Leadership Program at Mass General Hospital. She was then honored in 2016 with the Outstanding Women in Business Award, and then again in 2020 and 2022 with the NH Top 200 Most Influential Business Leaders award. Back to Leadership

Our team provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for a range of health needs, focusing on prevention, treatment, and overall wellness for individuals and families. PRIMARY HEALTH Pediatric care focuses on children newborn to 20 years old and includes their wellness care, immunizations, and development of physical and emotional growth. To support your child, we also can connect parents and caregivers with case management and mental health services if needed. Pediatric Care We focus on treating the whole person and focus on the unique health situations patients between 12 and 20 years old often face. We can screen for depression and anxiety; provide counseling and treatment for substance use; offer information and guidance about appropriate diet and exercise; ensure access to behavioral health therapy; and ensure that all necessary immunizations are up to date. We also offer a full range of education on sexual health including contraception, pregnancy testing, and testing/treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Adolescent Care Amoskeag Health offers comprehensive, team-based integrated healthcare for adults from all backgrounds and experiences. We address both physical and mental health together! We are considered a Patient Centered Medical Home, which is a model for achieving primary care excellence by providing care in partnership with patients and their families to ensure decisions respect patients’ wants, needs, and preferences. LEADERSHIP Maureen Cassidy, MSN, RN Chief Nurse/Chief Compliance Officer Raised in Massachusetts and beginning her career as a diploma nurse, Maureen Cassidy has built a distinguished career defined by progressive leadership, clinical excellence, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a Nurse Executive concentration, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and has since established herself as a senior healthcare leader across federally qualified health centers and academic medical institutions in New England. Since 2021, Maureen has served as Chief Nurse and Chief Compliance Officer at Amoskeag Health in Manchester, New Hampshire. She oversees clinical operations and the Corporate Compliance Program, ensuring regulatory integrity, quality outcomes, and safe, effective care delivery. For three years, she also led the Human Resources department, strengthening workforce strategy and organizational alignment. She partners closely with executive leadership to advance quality improvement, operational performance, and a culture of accountability. Previously, Maureen served as Director of Nursing at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and held leadership roles at Lakes Region General Health Care, where she led multidisciplinary teams, improved care delivery systems, and drove operational efficiencies across inpatient and ambulatory settings. Licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Maureen brings extensive expertise in clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and strategic healthcare operations, and remains committed to advancing excellence in patient care and organizational performance. Explore the Ready, Set, Launch program at Amoskeag Health. This initiative offers resources and support to help parents and caregivers prepare for and navigate key transitions in their family’s journey. Ready, Set, LAUNCH Because it Takes a City to Raise a Baby Home Visiting for All There is no guidebook for bringing home a new baby! Our Ready Set LAUNCH program is for newborns and their families who live in Manchester and give birth at Elliot Hospital. We want to make the first few weeks of caring for newborns a little easier. The Ready Set LAUNCH service is customizable to what YOU need. Newborn Navigators are bilingual Community Health Workers trained to assist families with newborns. They're experts in local resources and can connect you with services like mom's groups, lactation consultants, and childcare scholarships. Your Newborn Navigator can also connect you with free Nutrition and Cooking Classes, support access to SNAP and WIC, or to the local diaper pantry. As parents themselves, they understand how hard the first few months can be and can provide support during those early days at home. About Newborn Navigators Meet a Newborn Navigator Any parent or caregiver of a newborn who resides in Manchester is eligible to receive this FREE, one-time service! You will be introduced to the service at discharge or receive a call from our Newborn Navigator. Our Newborn Navigators will meet you in the hospital and tell you about our service. They will offer to meet you remotely for your visit. Navigators will follow up with you after you leave the hospital and give you a Welcome Baby Bag prior to the visit. How Does Ready, Set LAUNCH Work? Your Newborn Navigator will ask you how your first few weeks have been for you, your child, and your family. Your Navigator will see whether there was anything you wish you had or anything you currently need. Y our Navigator can work with you to make referrals if you'd like them. Your Navigator will determine if you may benefit from, and are eligible for, Enhanced Navigation which provides you with up to five additional home visits to build additional resources and support. Your Navigator will follow up with you after your visit to make sure you and your family are doing well. What Happens During a Home Visit? Since its inception in 2021, the Newborn Navigator has met with 1,433 families at Elliot Hospital, conducted 436 home visits, and referred 482 times to services like Manchester Diaper Pantry, WIC, SNAP, and various food banks. Ninety of these families received services in a language other than English - 80% in Spanish and 20% spread over Dari, French, Nepali, Pashto, Portuguese, and others.
