Your Journey to Recovery Begins at Amoskeag Health.

Amoskeag Health offers Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opiate and alcohol misuse disorder. Amoskeag Health provides outpatient treatment services using Suboxone (Buprenorphine) and Vivitrol (Naltrexone) medications to support recovery.

MAT staff includes providers, nurses, and behavioral health counselors, who work together with you to manage your medical care, prescribe and monitor medication therapy, provide behavioral counseling and encourage lifestyle changes to support your long-term recovery.

How Well Does MAT Work?

Medication Assisted Treatment, in combination with behavioral therapy and other services, is considered one of the most effective approaches to substance misuse treatment, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

They saved my life! My counselor taught me a different way of thinking, how to grow and become a better person. I feel stronger and able to love myself for the first time. I came a long way and I am very thankful for this program. My doctor and counselor are the best. I would never have done it without them.”  — MAT patient at Amoskeag Health
