The Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) is a federal initiative aiming to reduce teen pregnancies, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and associated risk behaviors. Amoskeag Health receives funding through NH DHHS to facilitate an evidence-informed curriculum, GET REAL. This curriculum is developmentally appropriate, inclusive of LGBTQ+ youth, trauma informed, and aligned to the National Health Education Standards using the CDC’s Health Education Curriculum Analysis Tool. Amoskeag Health staff facilitates this curriculum in Manchester District High Schools, community organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, and social services providers including Granite State Independent Living and the Sununu Youth Services Center.
